Chris Webb is a trash man who runs a one-truck haul-off company in the small town of Burleson, Texas (population 39,000). But he was not always a trash man.
He was an Officer in the U.S. Army for ten years. He was twice decorated with the Meritorious Service Medal. After leaving the Army, he started and built up three small companies. He sponsored Boy Scout units, taught Sunday School and served as a Baptist layman. He served on the Board of Directors of the Burleson Chamber of Commerce.
But then he lost it all. He lost all three of his companies and filed for bankruptcy. His wife of twenty one years left him and he ended up raising his three teenaged kids as a single Dad.
When he came to the end of his rope, his eyes were opened, and he had a moment of enlightenment that changed his life forever. It was during this period of his life that he was inspired to write the Gittite Way.
